ComfyCrawler
AI Disclaimer: Code and systems were built with Claude Opus 5.5, and assets were generated entirely locally via ComfyUI (powered by my old but still a beast 3090). It’s completely open source, so if you’ve got the hardware to run local models and want to generate your own dungeons, check out the repo here: github.com/sorryaboutyourcats/ComfyCrawler.
ComfyCrawler is a Windows 95 3D Maze-inspired dungeon crawler that draws itself based on four prompts you give it - dungeon style, who you are, your weapon and your enemy. You can also use a photo for each one, though things can look a bit wonky. 😹
CC then draws the walls, hero, monsters and boss, writes & reads the story and makes music and SFX. Then you walk in and fight your way to the boss. 💀
▶ Run game: 24 dungeons ComfyCrawler already made, right in your browser. Works on mobile too with some strange but nice controls. Dodge left and right, strike, block, level up, beat the boss. There are more dungeons at mowmeow.net/ComfyCrawlerTest.
If you'd like a dungeon made, suggest one or download the repo and make one:
