Yayyyy, I just finished LEAVE. Woo! 

What started out as quick horror FMV game using AI tools for Halloween, turned into a surreal FMV game with 5 endings and multiple ways to die. The original setting was a distorted house and it looked great to me, but it also looked super shaky and Blair witch styled, so people probably would have gotten sick from it [even using Topaz didn't fix it]. I'm glad it didn't work out though, as what was created was way better in my opinion.

After failing to produce a good flow in that house, a pivot to FPS-style happened [it was still an FMV game of course]. This style did not last.

Finally on attempt 29, I found the style to stick with. [At least to start and end with.]

When all was said and done with Runway, there were 177 different videos. There were also ones made with minimax.

Place: The upside-down White House feels distorted, with chandeliers now rising from the floor and ornate rugs covering the ceiling. Furniture floats or bolts to the "ceiling" at odd angles, defying gravity. Classical columns and arches stretch unnaturally, while upside-down presidential portraits stare down unsettlingly. Story: The main character is trapped in a haunted White House and needs to escape. They start running through it and it feels like an endless maze. This is part 1 of many.

Reading that you might think this game is political - it's not; just wanted to capture the style.

All the videos were pieced together using Premiere Pro, buttons were Firefly, ahhhhhhh okay I'm done for now. 😹
